The PROPAGRI project emerges in response to a growing concern across Europe: the decline in young people entering the agricultural sector. With an ageing farming population and a lack of generational replacement, the sector faces a potential crisis. PROPAGRI seeks to bridge this gap by equipping young people who are not in employment, education or training (NEET) with the skills needed for sustainable agriculture, enhancing their employability and ensuring the continuity of farming activities. As well as addressing labour shortages, this initiative contributes to wider, long-term environmental goals, making it a commitment to the future of European agriculture.
