Project ReVaCy-Farm

Regional Value Cycles for Farmers

Web page: revacy-project.eu

Farmers and rural areas across Europe are facing increasing challenges linked to climate change, biodiversity loss and changing market conditions. At the same time, many small and family farms need to find new ways to strengthen their economic position and create more value from their activities.

ReVaCy-Farm explores how circular economy approaches can support farmers in developing more sustainable and resilient businesses. By making better use of available resources, reducing waste and creating stronger links between local actors, regional value cycles can help generate new opportunities for farms and rural communities.

The project brings together agricultural organisations, rural development experts and other stakeholders from several European countries to identify practical solutions and share knowledge. It will develop training materials, business examples and learning resources to help farmers understand the opportunities offered by circular economy and apply these ideas to their own activities.

Through these resources and cooperation between partners, ReVaCy-Farm supports farmers and rural entrepreneurs in gaining new skills, exploring alternative business models and contributing to more sustainable agricultural practices across Europe.

By providing accessible training resources and practical examples, the project will support farmers and rural entrepreneurs in developing new approaches adapted to their needs and local contexts.

The project will contribute to more sustainable agricultural practices by encouraging better use of resources and stronger cooperation between rural actors. It also seeks to support rural development by helping farmers create additional value from their activities and explore new business opportunities.
