Project PERSONA

Development of a Hybrid Human-AI personalised learning path for VET for innovation in agriculture

Web page: personaproject.eu

The agricultural sector is undergoing a profound transformation, driven by technological advances, environmental challenges, and shifting market demands. Innovations such as artificial intelligence (AI), precision agriculture, and digital farming are reshaping the landscape, but there is a growing need to equip future farmers, educators, and agricultural advisors with the necessary skills to thrive in this evolving environment.

The PERSONA project was conceived in response to these challenges, recognising the need for innovative and flexible educational approaches to vocational education and training (VET) in the agri-food sector. By developing a hybrid human-AI system, PERSONA will provide personalised learning pathways tailored to individual needs, enabling learners to acquire key skills in areas such as innovation management, sustainability and new agricultural technologies.

The project aims to bridge the gap between traditional agricultural education and the demands of modern, technology-driven farming practices. Its tailored approach will ensure that the next generation of agricultural professionals is well equipped to meet the challenges and opportunities of the future.
